Broccoli Smoothie (GF/V)

Yup, there is broccoli in this tropical smoothie. But you won’t be disappointed that it’s in there! This green smoothie is simple, delicious, and EXTRA green. Feel refreshed and energized to take on the world after drinking this broccoli smoothie. OR maybe you’ll just feel hydrated and you’ll take on the world tomorrow- up to you.

This avocado + pineapple + broccoli smoothie is packed with greens, and will give you that energy boost to start your day off right or pick you up in the afternoon! It’s a different kind of refreshing, the kind that makes you drink the whole smoothie in under one minute… but try to savour it. I hate when you think you still have half a smoothie left and then you go to take another sip and it’s empty. First World Problems.

Also- Big perk here, you can’t taste the broccoli- but I promise you it’s in there!  A great way to sneak in those vitamins with out the veggie-haters even knowing!

At the end of the day, this tropical smoothie is just a great way to drink your greens. E N J O Y ♥


Broccoli Smoothie

serves 1-2

time to make: 5-10 minutes 

ingredients

  • 1/4 cup BROCCOLI (chopped)
  • 1 cup SPINACH
  • 1/2 of a PEAR (peeled)
  • 1/4 of an AVOCADO
  • 1 teaspoon HEMP SEEDS
  • knob of ginger (~1 inch by inch)
  • 1 cup frozen PINEAPPLE
  • 1/2 cup LIGHT COCONUT MILK
  • 1/2 cup COCONUT WATER

Directions

  1. blend everything together in a high speed blender, until smooth.
