Watermelon Mint Lemonade

A refreshing and delicious twist on the classic summer drink. If you love watermelon and lemonade this drink is sure to quench your thirst in any heat.

  • 1 1/2 cups watermelon juice (roughly 1/2 mini watermelon or 3-4 cups of chopped watermelon)
  • 1 cup filtered water
  • 2 lemons, juiced (or 1/2 cup lemon juice)
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint


  • Chop your watermelon into cubes and measure out 3-4 cups of the watermelon. Add the watermelon to a blender and blend on high for 1 minute. Using a mesh strainer, pour the watermelon juice into the strainer over a liquid measuring cup. Let the liquid drain into the cup, as the strainer removes the watermelon meal.
  • The watermelon should produce 1 1/2 cups of juice which is what you need for the recipe. Add the watermelon juice, mint leaves, lemon juice, water and maple syrup to a jar with ice in it. Place a lid on the jar and shake it until the lemonade is cold. Alternatively, you can add the lemonade ingredients to a pitcher and let it sit in the fridge to chill, but the jar and ice will chill it instantly.
  • Serves 2. If there are leftovers, store the watermelon mint lemonade in the fridge for a few days. It will separate a little so shake it before enjoying again.
